The With Love Newsletter - August 2025

Hello, August

Aaand it’s August already. That’s insane. Where has 2025 gone?! July was such a jam-packed month for me, and I hope you were able to find moments of rest and relaxation during this busy time of year.

I’m gearing up for some VERY exciting new branding projects for this fall. I booked my dream client a few weeks back and I’m beyond grateful and pumped to bring that brand to life very soon.

July Recap:

  • went camping in Kansas for the 4th of July

  • celebrated my bachelorette with my sweet friends and family!

  • spent a day riding roller coasters at Adventureland

  • spoke to a group of FAers in Omaha

  • sweat profusely

  • had a s’more or two

Summer Garden Candles

There’s still a few more summer candles left in the shop! Featuring a summery floral scent and lots of colored glassware options!

Scent is a mix of lilac, bergamot, jasmine, and apricot.

Bach Weekend at Rose Farm

My friends threw the most wonderful bachelorette weekend for me at Rose Farm in Norwalk, IA. It was the perfect mixture of cozy and chill with several amazing activities. We even did a pick-your-own floral bouquet workshop which was such a unique experience. 10/10 recommend Rose Farm for a weekend getaway!

New Brand Sneak Peek: The Downhome Co.

The Downhome Co. is a real estate business owned by Natalie St. John, a Des Moines real estate agent whose mission is to help Iowans become first-time homeowners, sell their homes, and educate them on why Central Iowa is a wonderful place to live.

The Downhome Co. brand has a quiet coziness that feels inherently Midwestern, with a soft, natural color palette and traditional style fonts with a more contemporary twist, much like suburban Iowa is a hidden gem because it’s the perfect mix of city living and slow-living.

My Current Faves

Rebecca Lowery Ikebana Vase

I’ve been on the hunt for a unique Ikebana Vase or “flower frog” dish for a while now, and I finally found one by a talented ceramicist at the Des Moines Art Festival! I’ve been having so much fun cutting flowers from my garden and arranging them every week. The flowers seem to last longer using this method!

Monogram Crochet Tote Bag

I got each of my bach party members their own embroidered monogram crochet tote, and they were a hit! I use mine like every day and it was fun to pick thread colors for each person.

LJ Eidolon Art Print

Another Des Moines Art Festival find that I adore! I absolutely love LJ Eidolon’s work, it reminds me of modern day Salvador Dali. Can’t wait to hang this new piece!
