March 2026 Newsletter
We made it to March!!
I don’t know about you, but I tend to feel like March is the TRUE new year. January-February are like a test run for the rest of the year. I did a lot of admin over the past couple months, (taxes, client calls, wedding plans, decluttering my space, etc.) and I feel really great about this year! I hope you’re feeling good about it too.
Bring on the Year of the Horse! 🐎
February Recap:
visited the Iowa Capitol for a disability advocacy day
spent a weekend in Minnesota with friends and crafted our hearts out!
enjoyed the spring-ish weather for 3 days and then cried about getting like 10 inches of snow immediately after
designed and sent our wedding invitations!
booked a few clients for this spring!
Rare Disease Day 2026
On Rare Disease Day (February 28), 3 years ago, the first and only treatment for Friedreich’s ataxia received FDA approval. There are several more treatments in the pipeline for FA, and I’m hopeful for the near future!
Grants to fuel research, equitable access to diagnosis, funding for clinical trials, and advocacy are all imperative to treating rare diseases like FA. Spreading awareness is the easiest way to make an impact! 🩷💚🩵🧬🦓

Scoops by Beth Grand Opening!
A beloved client, Beth, celebrated the grand opening of her ice cream shop on February 21! This shop is going to be amazing for the Highland Park neighborhood, and it’s an honor to see designs of mine finally come to life!
Beth has been making homemade ice cream for years and focuses on small batches, unique flavors, and locally-sourced ingredients.
I got to design this mural and you can see it from the street outside—I gasped when I saw it over the weekend for the first time—SO COOL!
Now Booking Projects for 2026
If you’ve been feeling that quiet nudge of “my brand doesn’t really feel like me anymore” or “I know I need a beautifully designed website, I just haven’t done it yet” — this is your sign.
I’m keeping my 2026 project load intentional so I can give each client the attention they deserve, which means spots do fill up.

My Current Faves
Rampin’ Up Podcast
Fiona Cauley is a comedian with FA like me! She has a podcast with her husband and people can call in and leave a voicemail with questions for her. I called in recently and my voicemail was played on their latest episode, yay! (skip ahead to 18 minutes for my call.)

Apparently this is a viral beaded bag at TJMaxx/Marshalls, I had no idea it was so hard to find! I randomly picked it up at TJMaxx and have been infatuated ever since.

This was a delicious and healthy sweet treat! Only a few ingredients and no cooking involved = love.
