Scoops by Beth is an ice cream shop located in the Highland Park neighborhood of Des Moines, Iowa. They make handcrafted, small batch ice cream from scratch using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Scoops by Beth is a place where people gather to celebrate a shared love of homemade ice cream.
THE GOAL
The goal with this project was to tell Beth’s story of her ice cream making journey while also creating a specific vibe that evokes family, community, and nostalgia; three key aspects when it comes to ice cream shops.
NOTES FROM LIBBY
I really love that the Scoops branding is vintage/retro-inspired, but there’s a bit of modern flare to it as well. It gives off that feeling of nostalgia, but there’s new-age values attached to it.
